Hi Parents,
Here is a copy of the email one of our Room Moms sent out to you all last week. So far we have the beverages, dessert, and paper products taken care of. We still need parents to provide sliced turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, and stuffing. Thanks!
The Vomvokids have enjoyed learning about the first Thanksgiving and have worked hard preparing Native American outfits and personalized placemats for this feast! They are so excited!!

IMPORTANT!!
I
just found out about a great opportunity to get a class book
published! Your children wrote their
pages for our Thankful Book today and will illustrate their pages tomorrow.
I will work on the cover, editing, and assembly over the weekend. I need to have it in the mail by Tuesday, November 26th (at the latest) with signed parent permission forms in order to get it published. We will get a class copy of the book only if everyone signs and returns these forms, which will be sent home in your child's folder today.
So, please sign and return the form in your child's folder by tomorrow, Friday November 22nd, even if you do not want to order your own copy of our class book. Thanks for your support! You’re the best!!

Sight Words
We
learn two new sight words every week in Kindergarten. We practice reading, spelling, and writing
these words every day. Here are the
sight words we have learned in class so far this year:
I
big
can
in
it
like
up
a
find
see
two
we
go
not
to
red
have
name
Please
practice these words with your child at home until he or she can read them
fluently. This can count toward your nightly reading time! When your child is able to
read all of these words to me, he or she will get a prize from the prize
box! I will update the list every
month. Thank you for your support!
